Try Heading Structure Checker →

What It Does

The Heading Structure Checker fetches any URL and analyzes its heading hierarchy (H1-H6). It visualizes the structure as a tree, counts each heading level, and flags structural issues that hurt SEO.

How to Use It

  1. Navigate to Analyzers → Heading Checker.
  2. Enter any URL and click Analyze.
  3. View counts for H1-H6 headings.
  4. Review the issues list for missing H1, skipped levels, duplicates, or empty headings.
  5. Inspect the visual heading tree to see your content structure.
  6. Export the report as .txt.

What It Checks

  • H1 count: Should be exactly one per page.
  • Hierarchy: Levels should be sequential (H1 → H2 → H3, not H1 → H3).
  • Empty headings: Headings with no text content.
  • Duplicates: Multiple headings with identical text.
  • H2 presence: Pages should typically have H2 subheadings.

Use Cases

  • Content audit: Verify heading structure across your site.
  • Accessibility: Proper heading hierarchy is critical for screen readers.
  • SEO troubleshooting: Find pages with structural issues.
